I was never a fan of chains. Keeping them tight, oiled, etc., was just a mess. The mess got even messier when I bought a chain-drive motorcycle. Then shaft-drive hit the market. O.M.G. I was in heaven with shaft-drive motorcycles.

Yep, for a bicycle. They were unbelievably heavy. They have one hanging from the trusses at my local bike shop.
Light peaces of them could be the good solution today.
